Arian's words of encouragement

Katie and Cara

I just wanted to tell you two that you’re doing an excellent job with the magazine. You two have really thought things through and organized yourselves well. Things must be extremely hectic for you two, with school and such, but you still manage to stay on top. Good Job!!

Ok, I’m done being the cheerleader.

Re: Workshop

Cara,

Thanks for your message. I'll send an email of the handouts this evening. If
you need any more help with training writers, please let me know how I can be
of assistance.

Here's a link to a study you might want to see about the way people read online
news:http://www.poynterextra.org/eyetrack2004/main.htm.

Thanks,
Erin Coyle

Quoting Cara McCoy :

Erin and Katie,
The workshop went great! Thank you so much for your help!!!
Do you think you could email the handouts you passed out so I can
post
them on the group site?

Also, Erin, do you think you can email me that handout from class
that
had all those sources on it? I'd like to post that on the database
as
well...

Thanks again!

- Cara

Editor's meeting

Hey Gals,

I think we talked to all of you, but just in case here is a reminder...

We are having an editors meeting in the front room tomorrow (Thursday) at 5 p.m. Please try to bring with you a copy of a solid description of your section written out, including guidelines for submission, style issues, and ethical issues that should be addressed (esp.the "from our readers" section).

We need the FINAL version emailed to us no later than Tuesday - so tomorrow is the time to go over what you have written up and make any last second changes.

Also, if you came up with any of the questions Cara described or your update schedule, bring those too.

See you tomorrow!!!!

Katie
